As of Monday, the first of 3 vaccine mandates that will impact our operations becomes effective. The facilities covered by that proclamation (educational, child care and health care settings) must verify vaccination status for anyone entering one of those facilities where “children are present or services are provided.” They then delegate that obligation for their non-employee contractors. As a result, we can only allow people whose vaccination status has been verified to enter those facilities/sites once they are open. There will be more coming soon on the process for vaccine exemptions and accommodations.
We are aware that some of you have been vaccinated, but have not provided verification to HR. In order to meet the requirements of the mandate(s), HR must verify your status. If you have field craft labor that needs to provide documents, they can take a picture and send it directly to HR at HR@AbsherCo.com or send the verification via text directly to Deana at 253-625-6415. This information will be kept confidential and will not be shared with those that do not have a need to know.
