Lewis County Jail
The Lewis County Jail project was a two-phase addition to and renovation of the existing and fully operational County Jail facility. Phase I included the addition of 192 detention beds in cell housing, dormitory housing and WERC (Work Ethic and Restitution Center) housing modules. The project?s second phase was compromised of the selective demolition of the existing jail facility, construction of a new open booking facility, bail office, one female inmate housing module and the conversion of a male housing dormitory into a male housing module.
