A collaborative project management team which is involved from concept design through final construction documents (CDs) sets the stage for work to be completed faster with fewer problems. As the design progresses so does the scheduling and planning. Design-build projects can be fast tracked so that the design is broken up into submittals packages that will allow the work to begin prior to 100% CD approval. Absher has successfully implemented a fast tracked approach on hundreds of millions of dollars’ worth of design-build projects.
